Express Entry-connected PNP stream has issued 1,297 invitations in 2018

Ontario’s Human Capital Priorities Stream has welcomed 488 applicants with a profile in the government Express Entry pool to apply for a provincial assignment.

This most recent welcome round occurred on February 12 and issued Notifications of Interest, or NOIs, to choose Express Entry hopefuls with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of in the vicinity of 435 and 441.

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) said those welcomed had presented their Express Entry profiles between January 1 and February 8, 2018, at 4 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.

Express Entry applicants who get an NOI can apply for a provincial assignment by Ontario. If effective, they get an extra 600 points toward their CRS score.

The Human Capital Priorities Stream permits the OINP to look the Express Entry pool for competitors with a CRS score over 400, among other criteria.

Fourth HCP welcome round of 2018

This is the fourth round of invitations issued through the Human Capital Priorities Stream in 2018. Altogether, a sum of 1,297 solicitations have been issued over the four adjusts, the other three occurring January 23, January 25 and February 8.

The OINP said the hopefuls welcomed in this most recent round were recognized through a hunt that was led on January 25.

In the present refresh, the OINP says it will keep on issuing NOIs to qualified Express Entry applicants “all the time” through the Human Capital Priorities Stream.
