As of April 1, 2017, candidates to two well-known immigration streams of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) will be required to pay an application expense of $300 CAD while presenting the application. The charge will be obligatory for candidates to the International Skilled Worker: Saskatchewan Express Entry sub-classification and the International Skilled Worker: Occupation In-Demand sub-class.

Both of these SINP sub-classifications have opened for new applications on various events since they were presented in 2015. Commonly, intake quotas for these streams fill inside a couple of days or even hours every on occasion.

These sub-classes target newcomers who have work involvement in a sought after the occupation. Also, no employment offer is required for either sub-classification.

SINP International Skilled Worker: Express Entry

Through this improved sub-class, qualified applicants in the government Express Entry pool may apply for a provincial nomination certificate from Saskatchewan. A provincial nomination certificate through this sub-classification gives the candidate 600 extra points under the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), and that applicant will then be in line for selection for a subsequent draw from the pool.

This base sub-classification is for skilled laborers who have experience in one of Saskatchewan’s in-demand occupations. Applications to this sub-class are prepared outside the Express Entry framework.
